According to this press release, “no heavy goods vehicle or trailer may leave or enter the city before 9 pm”.

And to do this, the divisional commissioner Sylvano Kasongo instructs the elements of the police on the borders of the city of Kinshasa to ensure the execution of this measure without complacency.

As for users of trailers and other heavy-duty trucks, the police chief of the capital invites them to comply with the aforementioned measure, in order not to be subjected to the rigor of the law.

This decision follows a finding made by the provincial authority of the national police of the city-province of Kinshasa on a release at will of all barrier measures on the part of Kinoises and Kinshasa after the lifting of the State of emergency, Tuesday July 21, by the Head of State.

Compulsory wearing of masks and noise pollution

In the same vein, General Kasongo insisted on the correct and compulsory wearing of masks in public settings across the capital. As of Tuesday, July 28, he promised to arrest all those who, in public circles, did not wear their masks, and he adds, these offenders will be forced to pay a fine of 5,000 Congolese francs.

“The police will be working from tomorrow to tightly control the wearing of masks. When you do not wear your mask correctly, you are arrested and you have to pay a fine of 5,000 FC ”, he warned.

Regarding the noise pollution observed in the capital, still after the lifting of the state of health emergency, the provincial police station of the national police in Kinshasa also warns those in charge of bars, terraces, nightclubs, and others than the police. will proceed with the confiscation of these sound materials.

It should be noted that since the message to the nation of the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi, on the lifting of the state of health emergency, a deliberate relaxation of all barrier measures by the Kinshasa population is visible in the Most of the sectors which were subject to closure and / or restriction, namely: bars, public transport, etc.
