Kongo Reflection Group Condemns the crisis in Central Kongo

In order to defend the interests and values specific to the Ne Kongo culture, the members of the Kongo Reflection Group (GRK) have, during a meeting held on Sunday, July 12, strongly condemned the current situation. in the province of Central Kongo characterized by the crisis at the level of the provincial institutions which, moreover, constitutes a brake on the integral development of this one. In the same vein, the members of GRK deplored the behavior which they considered inconvenient of certain provincial deputies of Kongo Central who would have demanded the resignation of the president of the Provincial Assembly, Dr Pierre Anatole Matusila, following the lack of Kongo ethics. Having been enlightened on the outline of the case, they did not hesitate to express their desire to keep the latter at the perch of this deliberative organ of Kongo Central.

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE “GRK”

Members of the “GRK”, Reflection Group, Concertation Body of the Kongo People for the defense of their Cultural Interests and Values met this Sunday, 07/12/2020 under the chairmanship of the National President.

During the meeting, they reviewed the very deplorable situation which all the Ne Kongo daughters and sons of the Kongo Central Province condemn; situation characterized by the crisis of the Provincial Institutions in Kongo Central which slows down the integral development of the Province.

Members of the “KRG” note with great bitterness the following:

Insecurity;
Financial malfeasance;
The situation of the Government of the Province of Kongo Central following the maintenance of the deposed Governor in the functions of Governor; Mr. Athou MATUBUANA NKUNKUKI for unacknowledged reasons and this despite the Memo that the Kongo Notability of Kongo Central; conducted by the Notable Eugène DIOMI NDONGALA NZOMAMBU during the hearings granted to him, Memo filed with the National Authorities of Kinshasa by which they await the outcome of the case with them;
Members of the “KRG” also deplore the inconvenient behavior of the Provincial Deputies of Kongo Central who, following the Kongo lack of ethics, demand the resignation of the President of the Provincial Assembly for unacknowledged reasons;
It returns to note that after having read the reply made by the President of the Provincial Assembly, Dr Pierre-Anatole MATUSILA in the Journal FORUM DES AS, in his Daily of General Information 30th Year n ° 6184 of Thursday 09 / 07/2020, all the members of the “GRK” as well as the National Committee, the Provincial Committees of the “GRK” of the City-Province of Kinshasa and the Provincial Committee of Kongo Central seized as well as those of the Basic Committees of the “GRK”; supported the Honorable President of the Provincial Assembly, Dr Pierre-Anatole MATUSILA for his maintenance.
