The International children’s day in Ethiopia was celebrated at Wolasma primary school, with the slogan “comfortable and peaceful Ethiopia for all children”
International children’s day was celebrated in East Gojam zone, Debre Elias woreda with the slogan “comfortable and peaceful Ethiopia for all children” for the 33rd time worldwide and in our country for the 17th time.
The main objective of the celebration of the holiday was to create a movement to make society aware of children’s rights and safety. The children’s social affairs office, Mrs. Good Father stated that the main objective of the holiday is to provide practical response to society.
When we are celebrating children’s day, Mrs. Heba said that it is important to protect children from various attacks, to make them learn in comfortable conditions, to strengthen them mentally, to raise them with love and to build them with love. Especially, by respecting children’s rights. We should support and empower children who are the future of the country.
