The participants of the 24th East African Police Commanders Union have visited the Ethiopian Federal Police.
The Ethiopian Federal Police Commissioner General, Demelash G/Michael warmly welcomed the delegation of East African Police Commanders (EAPCCO).
The Ethiopian Federal Police gave an explanation about the reforms that have been done in the past four years and they also watched a documentary.
The Commissioner General stated that crime prevention and crime investigation works are supported by modern technology and increasing the capacity to use technology, strengthening the police relations with foreign police institutions, and implementing strong law enforcement work in a way that is an example for Africa.

East African PoliceMembers of the delegation from 14 East African countries visited the Ethiopian Federal Police crime investigation office in person to see the work done by the digitalisation of the criminal investigation department and expressed their opinion on the results recorded by the criminal investigation department on human rights violations.
Members of the delegation also said that they will take the experience of the work done by the Ethiopian Federal Police to their country and work to build a police station that is unique in the region.

Ministers, Interpol officials, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Democratic Republic Congo, Djibouti, Somalia, Seychelles, Rwanda, Eritrea, Uganda, Tanzania, Comoros, Burundi police commanders, diplomats and special guests were present during the visit.
