The Alliance of Drivers and Owners for Integral Development in Congo A.C.PRO.DLCO asks the provincial governor to advocate with his colleague from Rwanda so that they resume Bukavu-Rwanda-KAMANYOLA-UVIRA traffic.

Development in CongoThis is possible within the framework of the Economic Community of the countries of great lakes, CEPGL informs the president of this association, Venant MIRINDI BALOLEBWAMI.

In an interview, Venant MIRINDI BALOLEBWAMI underlines that the current situation in the province of South Kivu on the RN5 passing through the escarpments of NGOMO and which has collapsed is already blocking traffic.

BALOLEBWAMI is requesting the governor’s involvement in resuming trafficking through Rwanda because NGOMO’s situation risks causing an economic crisis in the provinces.

Goods from Tanzania, MISISI in FIZI territory and even in UVIRA territory to supply the city of Bukavu and vice versa do not reach their destination as a result of this situation.

It should be noted that the engineers from the road office are already hard at work at NGOMO for the works.

These consist of removing landslides and widening the road to allow traffic, the provincial director of the roads office Anicet KAKESA.
