Within the scope of her Proximity Governance Program, the Municipal Administrator of Bibala, Luzia Arcanjo, developed for two days in the Commune of Caitou, a work journey, where she reported the growth levels of various sectors.
On the first day of her several visits, the municipality manager who was accompanied by the acting Municipal Administrator Joaquina Jamba and various members of the Municipal Administration, CAC and CMJ toured the towns of Maputo, Viti-Viyela, Muvanda, Cavimbangala and Mungaungaunga, where she was received with songs by the locals with whom she interacted and listened to the main concerns, having followed for a visit to the infrastructure of the education, health and water sectors.
To promote agriculture, Luzia Arcanjo delivered agricultural inputs (seeds of massango, massambala, beans and chives) to the rural population.
The Municipal Administrator noted the productive strength of the Zacarias Farm, strong in the production of tomatoes, corn, onions, garlic and beans, on an extension of twenty hectares of arable land.
Subsequently, fulfilling the program, the governor proceeded to deliver a three-wheeled motor vehicle and pastry kit’s for promoting self-employment, entrepreneurship and improving family livelihood to associations of women in Caitou, having appealed to the beneficiaries to seek the Administration Municipal for due legalisation so they can benefit from the funding lines available to boost economic activity.
At the conclusion of the works in the municipality of Caitou, the manager also visited the milling delivered under the Integrated Local Development and Poverty Program (PIDLCP), and the social infrastructures of the towns of Tchape-Tchape, Liwe, Pirangombe, Mumanga and Coufito.
